Causey Creative’s Internet Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Causey Creative website. The Causey Creative website contains links to other sites. Once you enter another website (whether through an advertisement, service, or content link), be aware that Causey Creative is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to look for and review the privacy statements of each and every web website that you visit.

Third parties, including Facebook, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from the Causey Creative website and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads.

HOW AND WHY WE COLLECT INFORMATION

We collect your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. If you register for a course, a membership site, or a free training series, for example, the information is used to enroll you in the program, to enroll you in our newsletters, to track your preferences, and to keep you informed about the product and related products. As a visitor to our Sites, you can engage in many activities without providing any personal information.

If you use the Causey Creative website without registering, the only information we collect will be Non-Personal Information using Cookies. If you choose to subscribe, we require a limited amount of Personally Identifiable Information, such as your name and email address.

If you supply us with your contact information you may receive periodic e-mails, mailings or calls from us with information on new products and services, important issues, or upcoming events. If you wish to be removed from any postal, e-mail, phone, or other lists, please let us know by e-mailing us. You can also write us or call us at the contact information above. Please provide us with your exact name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone. We will be sure your name is removed from the appropriate lists immediately.

NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Even if you do not register with Causey Creative, we collect Non-Personal Information about your use of our website, special promotions and newsletters.
Causey Creative assigns every computer a different Cookie. The information collected by Cookies:

(i) helps us to statistically monitor how many people are using our website
(ii) how many people open our emails
(iii) for what purposes these actions are being taken

Cookies are also used to facilitate a user’s log-in, as navigation aides and as session timers, but not to retain Personal Information about you.

When you use our Sites, we or our authorized technology services provider may also collect certain technical and routing information from you to facilitate your use of the Site and its services. PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

If you opt in to receive any free training series, download a free product, register for a webinar, seminar, or live event, or purchase any product sold by us or promoted by us, you will automatically be subscribed to our free newsletter. If you do not wish to receive this free newsletter, you may opt out at any time.

In connection with other activities, such as those described above, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, we may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including ZIP code), e-mail address, telephone, credit card, and other personal information. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.

As you use Causey Creative’s website, you will be given the option of receiving recurring informational/promotional newsletters via email. At the time you sign up for our email newsletters or any time thereafter, you can choose to opt-out of receiving additional promotional emails from us.

To subscribe to such newsletters, we need your contact information, such as name and email address. You can unsubscribe from the newsletters by simply clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email newsletter. An email to our automated unsubscribe service will be created on your computer. Click the “send” button. You will then be unsubscribed from that newsletter within two to three business days. You also have the option of limiting the frequency of emails or updating your groups so that only relevant information is sent to your email.

When you use Causey Creative’s “Email a Friend,” Causey Creative emails the article or other content designated by you to your friend’s email address, listing your email address as the sender. Causey Creative uses the friend’s email address only for sending your friend the email you requested. While we store the email address, we do not use it for any other purpose.

This Privacy Policy does not protect you when you send content, questions or ideas to Causey Creative by email. If you want to keep them private or proprietary, do not send them in an email to Causey Creative. We try to answer every email within 48 business hours, but are not always able to do so.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Neither Causey Creative nor any of its services are designed or intended to attract children under the age of 13.

From time to time the Causey Creative market research department, or its operations contractors acting on its behalf, conducts online research surveys in order to gather feedback about our site, our sponsors and opinions on important healthcare issues, through email invitations, surveys and online focus groups. Personally Identifiable Information collected through market research will only be used by Causey Creative and its operations contractors and will not be given or sold to a third party. Causey Creative uses the data to tailor information to reflect your interests, concerns and other personal or business characteristics.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy or as specifically agreed to by you, Causey Creative will not disclose any Personally Identifiable Information it gathers from you on our website. We will only release Personally Identifiable Information to third parties:

(i) to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order.
(ii) in special cases, such as if there is an attempted breach of the security of the Sites, or a physical or property threat to you or others.
(iii) in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, the sale of related assets or corporate division or other fundamental corporate change.

In the event that we are legally compelled to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to a third party, we will attempt to notify you unless doing so would violate the law or court order.

EXCEPTIONS TO PRIVACY POLICY

The information you enter when making a purchase or an online donation will be shared with payment processors, financial gateways, and your credit card company to authorize credit card payments. Such information may also be shared with necessary third parties solely for the purpose or carrying out the transactions. Please note that if you give out personal information online through a discussion board or posting site, that information can be collected and used by third parties. Although we strive to protect our users’ privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of information you post in these forums. You disclose such information at your own risk.

MISCELLANEOUS

These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates to these terms will be subject to mediation in the State of Georgia. If any of these terms of use are found unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be considered severable from the remaining terms of use, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. These terms may be modified only by our posting of changes to these terms of use on our Sites.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We will inform you if a material change to the Privacy Policy is made that involves the use of your Personally Identifiable Information. Your continued use of the Causey Creative site will indicate acceptance of the changes.
